Update on Fajr Int'l Filmfest - Second Day

Here are some latest updates on the second day of 36th Fajr International Film Festival.

1. Iran actor Reza Kianian gives away some tricks of the acting trade to the students of the festival's Talent Campus.

2. During a press conference, which was held on the sidelines of the festival, Finland director Jorn Donner says he has attended the festival to learn about Iranian culture.

3. Cinema Salvation section (International Competition) of the festival screens four films including Tomas Alzamora's 'Little White Lie'.  

4. A lineup of 3 films are on the screens of Broken Olive Branches section of the festival. The films are Behrouz Nouranipour's 'Dayan', 'Naila and the Uprising' by Julia Bacha and Mohamed Jabarah Al-Daradji's 'The Journey'.

5. Shadmehr Rastin, chairman of the festival's fan club, says this year the club will give out membership cards with special benefits to the ones who have attended the festival.

Fajr International Filmfest pays tribute to quality local and international films. It is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and showcases films promoting artistic contribution to the medium.

Directed by well-known Iranian helmer Reza Mirkarimi, 2018 edition of Fajr International Film Festival inaugurated on April 18 and will end on April27.
